devastated areas that the Yosemite Fire destroyed. Being visible to the
American People, thus upholding his responsibility to prioritizing America’s
best interest’s, a vision of the framers of the constitution, Congressman
Denham proposed to the House floor legislation that would salvage the timber to
be “sent to local mills fueling job growth and strengthening local economies by
providing revenues to the impacted counties.” (Denham) Through this
legislation, lawsuits, litigation, and delays over the use of timber projects
that can directly impact residents lives in a positive way can be bypassed,
speeding up the recovery in devastated areas impacted by the fire
(Denham).

of this past week on Capitol Hill has upheld his responsibility to the American
people by introducing as well as co- sponsoring legislation on the house floor
that attempts to benefit the American population as whole in a positive way.
