Breaking Bad ends...Government shuts down in protest

That's a joke the real reason the government has closed is to because Senator Reid and Senator Boehner hate each other. Their own interpersonal disputes have led to a shut-down government in which Democrats decry Boehner from the floor, and unusually aggressive move in a building that prides itself on musty rules like not calling people out by name.[1] Senator Reid was busy this week calling Speaker Boehner a coward.  [2] I think if the founding fathers were alive today they would slap all the Congressmen across the face and give them a reality check of the absolute shit storm they have gotten the nation into. I concur that the nation’s leadership has gone awry and is now brimming with acrimony, distrust and pettiness at a perilous time for the country’s economy.[3]

In another one of my classes we’ve been having a discussion of this notion of guardianship vs. democracy. A guardianship consists of the few educated and powerful privileged making and controlling the nation’s agenda and actions basically leading the flock. If these are our guardians it would seem that our “democracy” is headed for darker times. I mean leaking emails calling people cowards its all so petty and childish while 800000 people are home wondering how they are gonna provide for their families.
